With the theme "Save Energy, Activate Synergy.", this edition of Förnya, the National Level Technical Symposium of the Department of Production Engineering of the Velammal College of Engineering needed a logo that brought in the theme, but also had it's department prominent. The cog wheels at the top symbolise the Production Engineering Department, and so do the screws around the name. The logo takes the shape of the Earth, seen more prominently at the bottom half, to account for the theme.
Förnya is Swedish for innovation. The theme for the festival is "Save Energy, Activate Synergy.", saving energy through team work and collective thinking.
